1. "How are the word hints selected for each character?"
The hint words start with the letter and have a syllable for each code character. The dih sound is represented by a 1 or 2 letter syllable, normally without stress. The dah is represented by a 3 letter or longer syllable. You want to use the hints until you can hear the word just from the sound pattern.
|
2. "What speed is used for the code?"
The letters are played at 12 wpm and 800hz. The dah's are 3 times longer than the dihs, and the space between sounds is equal to the length of a dih.
|
3. "What characters are covered?"
The program teaches A-Z, 0-9, comma, period, question mark, hyphen and stroke.
